Parole Board Office Comparing
Most people that try to talk about Board office differences are inexperienced and are trying to sound knowledgeable. Some try to suggest they are better in certain Board offices. Most discrepancies between parole results are best explained by the number of high security beds in each geographical region.
Several factors reduce the value of the Parole Board Office comparisons. Parole guidelines, reasons and directives all have created greater uniformity in parole decisions. Most Parole Board Voters move around during their time voting parole cases. Of the 23 Parole voters currently listed on the Parole Board’s website, 10 have been assigned to more than one Parole Board Office. Nearly every parole voter has helped vote cases in multiple Parole Board Offices and Panels on several occasions. Term limits and changes are a normal part of The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles. These terms and changes are a part of good governance and make the board office comparing mostly idol conversation.
Cases are evaluated on a case by case basis. And Parole Voters often have a differing emphasis within their parole evaluations that should be considered. But a good parole argument is a good argument in any region. And if a person is a good parole candidate, a parole attorney should get them approved anywhere in TDCJ. The parole process is transparent and fair. Gathering the best information and arguing it within the defined process is far more important than undefined influences.
