The Importance of Adjustment During Periods of Supervision
Mr. Hampel assists his client’s by explaining to the parole board reasons for prior revocations. Moreover he acquires the parole records and includes them in both his written material and his parole presentation. These factors taken together create an individual picture unique to the client. Such a personalized argument can separate the client from the masses and earn the client the privilege of parole. Mr. Hampel suggests state, Edovo, chaplaincy and correspondence programs that indicate improved education, employment or self-help skills. These programs are used in the argument to show how the programs address the concerns raised by the client’s crime or criminal history. Copies of the client’s certificates are included with the written materials and are referenced in Paul Hampel’s in person interview at the parole board office. Edovo certificates are acquired using and Edovo code for downloading. Mr. Hampel can also explain modest program participation based on the size or location of the client’s unit. Client communication is key to a complete institutional adjustment profile and argument for parole.
